CJ Liu interviews Antonio Sacre about his new MP3 “World’s Second Best Dad.” Antonio is an award-winning performer, storyteller, and author-in-residence at the UCLA Lab school. In this video he shares how he is addressing his children’s fears during this time of unrest and uncertainty.
Due to Covid-19, many parents are now working from home and homeschooling their kids. During this enforced downtime, Antonio has found the power of storytelling and reading stories to his kids who are 7 and 10 years old. His youngest selects books full of whimsical joy, while his son wants to read Brother’s Grimm. As a parent, Antonio shares the importance of listening to your kids and using their inner guidance to choose the kind of healing they need during these troubled times.

Antonio’s stories have been published in award-winning books and audio recordings. Professional Developments and Keynote addresses he has given have helped educators teach writing to students from per-Kindergarten through graduate school. Now his stories are being developed for film and television.
