3 Reasons your Prayers aren’t answered

Here are my 3 top tips from today’s interview with Sharon Anne Klingler:

1) Prayer in panic and with a sense of urgency can undermine your outcome.   Imagine feeling desperate and praying “God, I need love. Please bring me my Prince Charming”.  You pray for what you want and then spend the rest of the day THINKING and projecting fear and desperation.  “What if I never find a love again?” “I’m not getting anyone”. “I’ll be alone forever”.  “No one wants me”.  These negative thoughts often cancel out any positive ideas you may be trying to manifest.  Plus, repeating the prayer with a lot of need, urgency, or fear sets the vibe that you lack faith it will happen.

2) Word choice is important. If you pray,”God, I need love. Please bring me my Prince Charming” you are essentially saying you NEED love because you  have NO love, No love of God, or  No self-love.  Perhaps, changing the prayer to “God, please let me receive love”.   Another downside of a word choice of I NEED is that  what you project, you project you will attract.  In this situation, you are projecting a sense of having no love and wanting to meet someone.  Guess who you will meet?  Someone else who wants love, but also feels no love on the inside.  Not a match made in heaven, right?.

3) Words should reflect your power and ability to act. When you pray ” God or Angel Uriel please bring me Prince Charming” this presumes you have no power, accountability, or power of getting this outcome on your own.  A better word choice would be “God, please help me receive love”.

3 Easy Steps for Pumping up your Prayer

Step 1: Start your day with an invocation to super charge your day. An invocation is when you are calling upon some divine force, deity, saint, or spirit that hold a special place in your heart.  For example, you could say “Archangel Michael, please give me power and strength right now” or say a prayer ” O God grant me courage, and tranquility of mind”. Really breathe in and feel the support of these spirits after you say this invocation.  This invocation is as a way to set the stage for the rest of your day. If Archangel Michael, Lord, or God doesn’t resonate with you, then choose another entity that means something to you ( name of a relative, spirit of a friend that has passed,  Thor, or anyone that registers as strength to you). For example, if you were Native Americans you may invoke the strength of the Sun,Wind, or Earth.

Step 2: After your morning invocation, then find a few choice words to help reinforce your intentions from the morning. While prayers are nice, they often take time to memorize and just saying ONE word can be just as powerful.  For example, throughout the day you could say “Strength NOW”.  These two words will help you bring back the power that you anchored from your morning prayer or invocation. For example, after you said “STRENGTH NOW” immediately imagine feeling Archangel Michael coming to you and sharing power, courage, and strength with you.

Step 3: Each time you say the words, it’s just as important to experience the words.  Take a deep breath, think of the word and then imagine swallowing the command ( STRENGTH NOW) and have the words and the energy they carry permeate throughout your whole body.  Imagine as if this command helps you tap your STRENGTH NOW.
